Preactor International is experiencing heavy demand for its planning and scheduling software solutions and is looking to add to its consulting, software development, software support and marketing staff at its headquarters in Chippenham as well as its subsidiaries in Lyon, France and Bangalore, India.

- Software Developer/Engineer – C# (Chippenham, Wilts)
This is an excellent opportunity to join a software house that produces software solutions for a worldwide client base. Our products are the leaders in their field. We are looking to expand our development team and seek a talented and experienced developer to join us. Applicants must have a strong commercial software development background (at least 5 years) with at least 2 years C# and .NET experience. Any additional experience in C, C++ (especially C++/CLI), and/or SQL server will be an advantage. A good understanding of either Windows Presentation Foundation or Windows Forms is a must. ASP.NET experience is a plus, though not required. Your role will involve working in an agile-development team so you must be able to work closely with other team members.
We are looking to appoint staff in the following areas:
- Preactor Implementation Consultants
Responsible for the analysis of client’s planning and scheduling requirements using Preactor’s implementation methodology, the customisation of Preactor to meet the client’s needs, installation of the solution and support during go live. Applicants should ideally have experience of implementing APS software and have a good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Preactor Software Developers
Preactor’s agile development team constantly works on improving and extending our range of software solutions. Candidates will have experience developing commercial quality software in C# for Microsoft’s .NET platform. Applicants will also benefit from C / C++ and C++/CLI experience.
- Preactor Technical Support Officers
Preactor provides telephone support to its users and partners around the world. Technical support officers are given thorough training in the Preactor family of products that enable them to provide this support. A good level of computer literacy is required including operating systems, database structures and general configuration of applications. A good telephone manner is also essential.
- Preactor Marketing Assistants
Preactor has an indirect sales model and focuses its marketing activity on increasing the visibility of the company and its products in the various markets through our web site, seminars, conferences etc as well as finding, training and supporting partners to work with around the world to sell and implement Preactor.
