APS specialists from 26 countries share planning and scheduling expertise and trends from around the world
Preactor International, the world’s leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company holds one of its most successful global partner conferences yet. The annual event held in Chippenham each June draws Preactor partners from 26 countries and represents one of the largest international gatherings of production planning and scheduling specialists in the world.
The purpose of the partner week is the sharing of excellence and expertise within the Preactor planning and scheduling community at a technical and customer delivery level. Given that Preactor is used in practically every industry sector, it is an invaluable time to feedback business trends from different countries with a view to adding to partners’ abilities to best to deliver the consistently high service levels that Preactor is renowned for.
Valerie Goulevitch is EMEA Marketing Director and comments on the success of the week. “Our partner network is unique in the world of planning and scheduling and has continued to grow, along with our sales, even in the midst of the recent financial crisis. Since the last partner week, we have added 47 new partners from 6 different countries and it was excellent to welcome some of them here to exchange ideas with our long established partners. Everyone left energised and agreed it had a very positive week.”
For Mike Novels, Preactor International’s CEO, a key highlight was the positive interest in the company’s forthcoming Preactor App online store. “Because Preactor is so inherently flexible and scalable our solutions are used in an incredibly diverse range of situations and industries. Consequently our Preactor partners have acquired an immense amount of skill and expertise in not just skilfully implementing Preactor but also in developing bespoke bolt-on solutions that work seamlessly with Preactor and which are fully compatible with Preactor version upgrades.”
He continues, “By developing a range of Preactor Apps and making these available at our Preactor App Store, this expertise can be readily available across our entire partner network as well as end users. Now, more than ever, when manufacturers irrespective of size and location think scheduling, they should think Preactor.”
