Preactor International, the world's leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company, has launched a major offensive in Japan by exhibiting at the DMS show at the Big Site in Tokyo.

Mike Novels, CEO of Preactor International attended the exhibition. "Japan has a huge manufacturing economy and this is reflected in the number of companies offering APS solutions here. We believe we can take a higher market share here if we can find the right companies to work with".

Jon Christensen, Preactor International’s Global Partner Manager was also on the stand to welcome interest in partnering with PI. "We had some in depth discussions with many companies that have the expertise to sell, support and provide the services that some Japanese companies will need. We have updated the Japanese translation of Preactor v10.0 and we know from the studies we have done on competitive products that we have an excellent opportunity to make some headway in the market."

Preactor will select those companies it wants to work with over the next few weeks and then run intensive training courses in Japan for its new Partners.

"Once we have trained our partners we will then be able to start to plan our strategy with them for opening up the Japanese market" added Mike Novels. "We are very excited at the opportunity to work with the very knowledgeable and capable people that we have met here this week."
