The Case Studies described below are based on information provided by companies who run Preactor with SAP ERP system. Each study has been written in collaboration with employees of the company and Preactor International would like to thank those who provided these insights into how Preactor is used and the benefits it has provided.

With a turnover of approximately 46.1 billion euros and about 281,000 employees distributed in its 225 factories, Bosch operates in the Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, Energy and Building Technology and Consumer Goods. To meet the needs of dies and molds in its production areas, Bosch has its own tooling.
 
Currently a leading pharmaceutical supplier in Brazil, Libbs was founded in 1958 in the city of São Paulo. Fifty years in the market, marked by continuing expansion, granted the company a renowned position and the company’s history is imprinted with R&D culture.
 
Cebrace is the result of a joint-venture between two of the major groups producers of flat glass of the world: Saint-Gobain (France) and NSG (Japan), which acquired Pilkington in 2006. Founded in 1974, Cebrace gathers in its manufacturing process the know-how and technology of two giants of the glass sector. This puts it in the position of a leading company in the Brazilian market of the flat glass segment.
 
EPCOS was founded in 1954 and currently is headquartered in Gravataí City, Brazil. With more than 20 thousand employees, the EPCOS group has Project centers for manufacturing and sales in Europe, Asia, North America and South America. EPCOS AG, the group business based in Munich, Germany, is the leading manufacturer of electronics components, modules and systems.
 
Lechler S.p.A., an Italian company making paint, has more than 400 employees with subsidiaries in France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
 
Vulcan Industrial Engineering Co Pvt Ltd (VIECL) had its humble beginnings in 1971 manufacturing drilling machine accessories. Over the past 30 years, Vulcan has become a leading Indian provider of standard and customized engineering services and products.
 
Boticário develops and produces perfumery and cosmetic products with over 3,200 brands in stores in Brazil, divided between almost 900 franchises the largest network in the world in this sector, generating direct and indirect jobs for almost 22 thousand people.
 
Located in Luziânia/GO, Brazil, BRASFRIGO S/A, is one of the largest Brazilian food companies, offering a wide range of quality products and traditionally recognized by the market. In operation since 1990, BRASFRIGO markets their products nationallly and internationallly. They have four brands: Jurema, Jussara, Tomatino and Terrabella, covering approximately 70 products including canned vegetables, tomato products, sauces, soups and dressing (mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard). In addition they manufacture a number of brands for large retail chains
 
From humble origins in 1894 Vienna, Hoerbiger has grown to become a leading player in the fields of compression technology, automation technology and drive technology employing a global workforce of 7,600 and achieving sales of 950 million euro. Hoerbiger branched into North America in the 1960s and now has 23 service centers in addition to 2 manufacturing centers – one in Houston, Texas and a larger facility in Pompano Beach, Florida.
 
Founded in 1988 in Porto Alegre, Multilab Industry and Trade of Pharmaceuticals is located in São Jerônimo (RS). The location concentrates all production lines and centralizes the logistic operations. Multilab manufactures generic and brand-name drugs, and also OTC (Over-the-counter) and prescription drugs, sold in retail packaging or directly to hospitals.
 
The EUROCOPTER Group was formed from the merger of two important companies in Aerospace. First in the market with rotary wing aircraft at the beginning of the century, the original company became, over a number of years more famous and important.
 
Klabin group is the largest producer, exporter and recycler of paper in Brazil. It is the market leader in packaging paper and board, corrugated boxes and industrial sacks, and also produces and sells timber logs. Founded in 1899, today it has 17 plants in Brazil and Argentina.and is organized in four business units – Forestry, Paper, Corrugated Packaging and Industrial Sacks. In 2007 it had gross revenue of R$ 3.4 billion (U$ 1.8 billion) and a net profit of R$ 621 million (U$ 345 million), an increase of 31% over the previous year.
 
Aquacolor is a leading Portuguese textile service company specialising in an innovative range of finishing tasks including dyeing, washing, laser, spray, brushing, sand projection and cutting.
 
STOCKO of Andlau, France, is one of the leading manufacturers of electro-mechanical components in Europe. Its core markets include the domestic appliances industry, heating industry, industrial electronics, consumer electronics, multimedia, telecommunication, automotive and distribution.
 
Lakshmi Precision Screws Limited (LPS) manufactures metal fasteners, bolts and screws, with a diameter ranging between 3 and 36mm and lengths 5 to 1500mm. There are also different thread specifications, raw materials and finish specification resulting in around 8500 varieties.
 
Procter & Gamble is perhaps one of the most well known and certainly one of the largest companies in the world. Their portfolio of trusted brands, include Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Always, Pantene, Bounty, Folgers, Pringles, Charmin, Downy, Iams, Crest, Actomel and Olay.
 
Cosworth Racing is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of ultra-high performance engines for racing, rally and road car application. Founded in 1958 by Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth, the company has been wholly owned by Ford since 1998, employing a workforce of over 650.
 
A Preactor 300 FCS tool has replaced the manual wall planning board at Demag Cranes & Components (Mannesmann) – the manufacturer of overhead travelling cranes, hoists and warehouse systems. The result has been increased production efficiencies due to greater visibility of future planning requirements.
 
Vallourec, a French company with a number of manufacturing sites, make low carbon Ni-Cr-Mo steel tube mainly for the automotive industry, more than two thirds of which is exported all over the world. Processing takes place at three sites, Saint Florentine, Vitry-le-Francois and Laigneville with production totalling around 75-85 tons of steel every day, equivalent to 15 kilometres of tube.
